Stone was the start start of a life transforming journey
Stones Story
Stone came into our lives very unexpectedly.
After rescuing him initially it took several days to gain his trust.
But soon his playful mischevious character came out.
Project Wolf
Whilst Stone is a part of our family we want him to be able to be a wolf as much as possible.
He was brought up from a very young age with a companion dog called moon (yes we call them together "moonstone" - sorry if it's a bit cheesey :-) ) but ultimately we would like him to be a part of his own pack.
We have been offered other wolves but have not been able to take them in due to a lack of space.
Stone also needs more space to roam. The local authorities and the mayor are supporting our project to make a home for wolves in Biokovina and they have offered a large area of state forest land.
We urgently want to start building fencing for this area so Stone can have space to roam in a beautiful natural envionment that could sustain many orphaned wolves.
