Featured resident: Aeuscalapian Snake

Whilst our focus is on developing facilities for wolves and bears we also take in any other injured wildlife including this handsome fellow.

There are 3 species of poisonous snake in Bosnia but this handsome fellow is not one of them. We do keep the anti-venin for the most poisonous one - the horn nosed viper (vipera ammodytes) in our fridge though.

We love all animals even the ones some people find challenging

Wherever possible we release our guests back into the wild as fast as possible. This beauty was only with us for a short time. He was also a little bit nippy - hence the gloves!
